Investigatory Committee to start a criminal case against oligarch Kerimov

Ogfficial representative of the Investigatory Committee Pavel Travulka has informed this to the agency Interfax-West. Apart from Suleiman Kerimov, a number of people can be also subjected to criminal cases, including the citizens of Belarus.



Travulka has also added: "There's no need for special knowledge in law to understand how the investigation qualifies Kerimov's actions."

"Radio Day" festival participants invite for a meeting with fans on May 2

The leaders of the bands Neuro Dubel, Krama, Pomidor/OFF and :B:N: will have a meeting with their fans in order to answer their questions, just before the "Radio Day" festival which will take place on May 6 in the Re:Public club. The informational pre-party will be held in the editor's office of the web portal TUT.BY on May 2.

The fine ranges from 350 thousand to one million roubles.

You can also look through the draft at the national legal portal. The possible changes may not only be applied to accessing forbidden websites. It may also concern the distribution of advertisements on foreign websites and a fine for the absence of a data base of customers.

Chair of the National Bank Nadzeya Yermakova confessed to the journalists that she had "lost as everyone" due to devaluation, and that "the money goes only for clothes". Manayeu: Lukashenka?s rating is lowest now

According to the IISEPS, Lukashenka’s rating has decreased by 2.5 times and 20.5% are ready to vote for him.

However, the number of people ready to express their protest has not changed.

"The number of people ready to vote for Alyaksandr Lukashenka if there were an election tomorrow has reached the record low level in 17 years of monitoring and totals 20.5%. The previous historic minimum was registered in the spring of 2003 – in March and April – 26.2%”, - said sociologist Aleh Manayeu to Euroradio.

EU urges to release political prisoners and start dialogue with opposition

A declaration on the situation in Belarus has been adopted at the Eastern Partnership Summit.

“The civil society participants of the Eastern Partnership Conference express their continuing concern about the worsening problem of ongoing human rights, democracy and the supremacy of law violations, regret the restriction of the liberty of mass media and are urging to release political prisoners, stop repressions and start a dialogue with the opposition.
